Services
Altoria Studios provides comprehensive digital services including custom website design, website redesign and modernisation, brand identity development, e-commerce solutions, and ongoing website support and maintenance. Each service is tailored specifically to your business needs, goals, and target audience, ensuring a bespoke solution rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. The specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and associated costs will be detailed in a written quotation or project agreement before any work begins, providing complete transparency and alignment on expectations.
Quotes and Payments
All project pricing is provided through detailed written quotations that outline the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and total cost. Once a quotation is accepted, an invoice for the agreed deposit or full payment will be issued to secure your project slot and commence work. Payment terms vary depending on project size and complexity, with larger projects typically requiring milestone-based payments throughout the development process. We accept payment via bank transfer, and all fees must be cleared before final project files are released or websites are launched.
Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your project booking and initiate the design and development process. This deposit represents a commitment from both parties and allows us to allocate the necessary time, resources, and creative energy to your project. The deposit amount will be specified in your project quotation and is typically non-refundable once work has substantially begun, as it covers initial research, planning, and design phases. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule outlined in your agreement, with final payment required before launch or handover.
Revisions
Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as specified in your quotation, allowing you to request changes and refinements during the design phase. We define a revision as a single round of feedback and subsequent adjustments, not an entirely new design direction. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges at our standard hourly rate, ensuring fair compensation for extended design time. Major scope changes or requests for entirely new design concepts after approval may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Project Timelines
Project timelines provided in quotations are estimates based on our current workload and the scope of work discussed. While we strive to meet all deadlines, delays can occur if required content, feedback, or approvals are not provided within the agreed timeframes. Timely communication from both parties is essential for maintaining momentum and ensuring successful project completion. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by late client feedback, delayed content delivery, or third-party service disruptions beyond our control.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely content including text, images, logos, brand guidelines, and any other materials required for the project. All content must be provided in the requested formats, and clients must ensure they have the legal right to use all supplied materials. Delays in providing necessary content or feedback may result in project delays and potential additional costs. Clients are also responsible for reviewing and approving designs, prototypes, and final work in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final website design, code, and related deliverables transfers to the client. This includes the right to use, modify, and maintain the website as you see fit. However, Altoria Studios retains the right to display completed projects in our portfolio, case studies, marketing materials, and social media unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing. Any third-party plugins, stock imagery, or software used in the project remain subject to their respective licenses and terms of use.
Ongoing Support Plans
Ongoing support, maintenance, and website updates are provided through separate care plans tailored to your needs. These plans outline the specific services included, response times, and monthly or annual fees. Support plans can be cancelled according to the terms specified in your care plan agreement, typically with a notice period. Work outside the scope of your support plan, including major updates, new features, or significant design changes, will be quoted separately before commencement.
Refunds and Cancellations
Altoria Studios aims to ensure every project meets a high standard of quality and client satisfaction. If concerns arise during a project, reasonable revisions and adjustments will be provided where appropriate to help align the work with the agreed goals and expectations. Deposits are generally non-refundable as they secure project scheduling and compensate for time invested in planning, research, design and development work. If a project is cancelled before substantial work has begun, partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of Altoria Studios. Once substantial design, development or project work has been completed, refunds will generally not be available due to the time, resources and work already invested into the project.
Limitation of Liability
Altoria Studios will not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not responsible for third-party service failures, hosting issues, domain problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may affect website functionality or availability.
